I will be visiting Aika in few days so I got some souvenirs that I will bring to Manila from Tokyo.

So this is why I don’t want to draw at the restaurant sometimes because I’m really afraid someone could see it. Well if only I’m a master of sketching, I won’t be so shy and I’d love to work outside and let people peek in my legendary masterpiece. (^^;
During this time, I was in a small Japanese restaurant near my house and there are many customers and the lone waitress can’t notice me so for me not to waste time waiting I just got my notebook to draw for our New year’s greeting. I had been struggling (It’s my first time to draw a monkey, actually haha) since I can’t make it look adorable and cute.( 一一)
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life~ ONE OK ROCK performed live in Manila!
It was like a miracle since most popular Japanese musicians rarely have a concert here. 4 months before the event, I was surprised when I found out they will perform in Philippines and I wondered if do they have lots of Filipino fans, then when I bought a ticket (about 4 days after the announcement) VIP tickets were already sold out! T__T Even the lower box seats near the stage were gone! Other fans were really quick~ Anyway my friend (Hello Glai~ haha) and I just got a seat in the left corner of lower box.
I finally could see Hokusai’s Ukiyo-e works.
Hokusai (1760–1849) is one of the most remarkable Japanese Ukiyo-e artist.
And his Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series are acknowledged as one of the most famous Ukiyo-e series.
（Ukiyo means The Floating World.)
To know more about Katsushika Hokusai and to access more of his works, you can visit this Artsy’s site:
UPDATE: I applied for a Japan tourist visa for the second time, I got approved finally! See the story HERE.
December 2014, I was very elated to get a promo flight ticket to Tokyo. I told Nao-chan about it and we were both very excited to meet in Japan. (I’ve almost forgotten that I need to apply for a visa~) I was very excited to go abroad for the very first time! To be honest, I was so optimistic that I can get approved easily because I heard in the news that the Japan Visa Application process is currently relaxed.
After reading some blogs about Japan Visa application and their success stories, I have become much more positive that I can get approved too. I decided to apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa without a Guarantor. Nao-chan was anxious to be my guarantor due some reasons that the embassy might think he is not eligible for it.
So three weeks prior to my “flight” I went to a travel agency to submit my requirements, ate a bowl of Ramen and went home with a smile from ear to ear. After a few days, I received a text from the agency asking me to get my passport. I went there then WHOA. my application got denied!
Happy New Year everyone!
You probably be wondering who is the person in our illustration.
He’s Goromaru Ayumu 五郎丸歩, a very strong Japanese rugby player.
He’s very popular now and got lots of fans (including Nao-chan!)
だから五郎丸選手のイラストをかきました (That’s why I drew Goromarusan’s illustration)
I want to be as tough as him~ ^^
May the year of the Monkey (Oriental Zodiac) be good to us. Happy Holidays!
あけましておめでとうございます！ Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu!
I hope we all fine most of time in 2016.
Of course there’s many hardships in our life.
But we can learn new thing through any experiences……
By the way, I saw very weird video.
If you are not strong enough, Please don’t watch this.
I knew this dance group “東京ゲゲゲイ (Tokyo gegegay) ” on TV today.
There performance was superb, then I checked their video on youtube.
こわい（Kowai） means…. scary
Even that Crying Politician appears (+_+)
I don’t know if this video is suitable to watch on new year’s day.
But I felt some kind of unfathomable energy from their performance.
It’s so madly motivational.
I want to start new things(^o^)
A Happy New Year (^_-)☆
