Packing My Things

packing-things-high

I started packing things the day before Nao-chan’s arrival. At last! My parents allowed me to stay with him, I was really happy! Before, they never allowed it and I must be home before midnight~ And even though they let me be with Nao-chan, they kept on reminding me, “Aika, know your limitations!” or “Please, please don’t do things you are not allowed to do yet”. My ears are getting tired to hear them but of course, I also appreciate how they care for me. Nao-chan and I are very thankful to them, for their trust.

It took me one hour or two to pack my things and I was pretty indecisive when it comes to choosing what clothes to bring. I’d been packing and unpacking for a few times until I finally got satisfied with it. And my mom saw tons of  clothes on the bed and I don’t know why she was a bit worried about it! (^▽^)

Sketching at the Restaurant

drawing-at-a-restaurant-comic

So this is why I don’t want to draw at the restaurant sometimes because I’m really afraid someone could see it. Well if only I’m a master of sketching, I won’t be so shy and I’d love to work outside and let people peek in my legendary masterpiece. (^^;

During this time, I was in a small Japanese restaurant near my house and there are many customers and the lone waitress can’t notice me so for me not to waste time waiting I just got my notebook to draw for our New year’s greeting. I had been struggling (It’s my first time to draw a monkey, actually haha) since I can’t make it look adorable and cute.( 一一)

One Ok Rock Live in Manila, For the First Time!

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life~ ONE OK ROCK performed live in Manila!

It was like a miracle since most popular Japanese musicians rarely have a concert here. 4 months before the event, I was surprised when I found out they will perform in Philippines and I wondered if do they have lots of Filipino fans, then when I bought a ticket (about 4 days after the announcement) VIP tickets were already sold out! T__T Even the lower box seats near the stage were gone! Other fans were really quick~  Anyway my friend (Hello Glai~ haha) and I just got a seat in the left corner of lower box.

Hokusai (1760–1849) is one of the most remarkable Japanese Ukiyo-e artist.

Japan Visa Application Got Denied? Here’s my Horror Story

japan-visa-denied-pic

December 2014, I was very elated to get a promo flight ticket to Tokyo. I told Nao-chan about it and we were both very excited to meet in Japan. (I’ve almost forgotten that I need to apply for a visa~) I was very excited to go abroad for the very first time! To be honest, I was so optimistic that I can get approved easily because I heard in the news that the Japan Visa Application process is currently relaxed.

After reading some blogs about Japan Visa application and their success stories, I have become much more positive that I can get approved too. I decided to apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa without a Guarantor. Nao-chan was anxious to be my guarantor due some reasons that the embassy might think he is not eligible for it.

So three weeks prior to my “flight” I went to a travel agency to submit my requirements, ate a bowl of Ramen and went  home with a smile from ear to ear. After a few days, I received a text from the agency asking me to get my passport. I went there then WHOA. my application got denied!
