I really love girls… I mean, drawing them~ This was originally a pencil sketch I did when I couldn’t do anything during my internship. I decided to make it digital since it’s been months since I practiced painting via Photoshop. and also I want to experiment more and combine my drawings and Nao-chan’s photo works.
It’s been seven years since I visited Manila Ocean Park for a high school field trip. So I was excited to visit the place again, with Nao-chan this time.
Manila Ocean Park is the only aquarium in Philippines. Some people say it is not as big as other aquariums abroad (but who cares?!) There are so many beautiful sea creatures to see and there are many packages to choose from depending on your budget.
We chose the ‘Deep Sea Rush 6’. which costs 580 pesos. It wasn’t so crowded as we visited there on a weekday. (yey!)
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life~ ONE OK ROCK performed live in Manila!
It was like a miracle since most popular Japanese musicians rarely have a concert here. 4 months before the event, I was surprised when I found out they will perform in Philippines and I wondered if do they have lots of Filipino fans, then when I bought a ticket (about 4 days after the announcement) VIP tickets were already sold out! T__T Even the lower box seats near the stage were gone! Other fans were really quick~ Anyway my friend (Hello Glai~ haha) and I just got a seat in the left corner of lower box.
UPDATE: I applied for a Japan tourist visa for the second time, I got approved finally! See the story HERE.
December 2014, I was very elated to get a promo flight ticket to Tokyo. I told Nao-chan about it and we were both very excited to meet in Japan. (I’ve almost forgotten that I need to apply for a visa~) I was very excited to go abroad for the very first time! To be honest, I was so optimistic that I can get approved easily because I heard in the news that the Japan Visa Application process is currently relaxed.
After reading some blogs about Japan Visa application and their success stories, I have become much more positive that I can get approved too. I decided to apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa without a Guarantor. Nao-chan was anxious to be my guarantor due some reasons that the embassy might think he is not eligible for it.
So three weeks prior to my “flight” I went to a travel agency to submit my requirements, ate a bowl of Ramen and went home with a smile from ear to ear. After a few days, I received a text from the agency asking me to get my passport. I went there then WHOA. my application got denied!
Last time, I told you that I got a free concert ticket when I went to a travel agency. The live concert is entitled, “Nameless Moon: Kei Owada Live in Manila”. It seems interesting and the ticket might be もったいない if I won’t come. So this Saturday, right after attending a school event, I went to the concert by myself. And I’m glad I attended!
