I will be visiting Aika in few days so I got some souvenirs that I will bring to Manila from Tokyo.
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life~ ONE OK ROCK performed live in Manila!
It was like a miracle since most popular Japanese musicians rarely have a concert here. 4 months before the event, I was surprised when I found out they will perform in Philippines and I wondered if do they have lots of Filipino fans, then when I bought a ticket (about 4 days after the announcement) VIP tickets were already sold out! T__T Even the lower box seats near the stage were gone! Other fans were really quick~ Anyway my friend (Hello Glai~ haha) and I just got a seat in the left corner of lower box.
UPDATE: I applied for a Japan tourist visa for the second time, I got approved finally! See the story HERE.
December 2014, I was very elated to get a promo flight ticket to Tokyo. I told Nao-chan about it and we were both very excited to meet in Japan. (I’ve almost forgotten that I need to apply for a visa~) I was very excited to go abroad for the very first time! To be honest, I was so optimistic that I can get approved easily because I heard in the news that the Japan Visa Application process is currently relaxed.
After reading some blogs about Japan Visa application and their success stories, I have become much more positive that I can get approved too. I decided to apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa without a Guarantor. Nao-chan was anxious to be my guarantor due some reasons that the embassy might think he is not eligible for it.
So three weeks prior to my “flight” I went to a travel agency to submit my requirements, ate a bowl of Ramen and went home with a smile from ear to ear. After a few days, I received a text from the agency asking me to get my passport. I went there then WHOA. my application got denied!
Happy New Year everyone!
You probably be wondering who is the person in our illustration.
He’s Goromaru Ayumu 五郎丸歩, a very strong Japanese rugby player.
He’s very popular now and got lots of fans (including Nao-chan!)
だから五郎丸選手のイラストをかきました (That’s why I drew Goromarusan’s illustration)
I want to be as tough as him~ ^^
May the year of the Monkey (Oriental Zodiac) be good to us. Happy Holidays!
We are actually art-oriented people. Taking photographs is his passion and mine is drawing and designing. So we are thinking that creating art together will be awesome. We came up of making a photo illustration and called it “In Spring”
Nao-chan has a lot of amazing photos. He even met a lot of prominent people and took their portraits. I actually felt a bit sad he shifted his career. But I’m hoping that even though he’s busy with something else, he will keep doing what he loves.
Heartwarming and uplifting expressions are really great to hear after a hellish day.
Nao and I usually have so many things to do. He is busy working at the office and I’m struggling with my plates (art projects) at the university and design work. And due to that, we become so stressful and frustrated sometimes. Luckily, even though we get tired with our particular tasks that we must do throughout the day, We still manage to cheer ourselves up.
